While Head of Events for creative workspace company Second Home, I produced a number of community building events and large parties for their members. Highlights included the launch of Broadly (Vice’s Women’s Channel); the launch of the Holland Park space and poetry bookshop; and parties with special guest bands such as Afroquoi and Honeyfeet.

The launch of Broadly – Vice’s women’s magazine – in 2015. Featuring a long table dinner for 100, plus drinks and music on the third floor of Second Home Spitalfields – before it was renovated and opened to members.

To launch Second Home’s Holland Park space and poetry bookshop, I invited the founder of the Forward Prize for poetry and creator of the Poetry Pharmacy - William Sieghart - to speak with us and run a poetry clinic for our members. In these special sessions, William offers the incredible healing tonic of poetry to soothe, inspire or uplift the heart and soul, depending on what’s needed. To compliment this, I arranged for Mama Xanadu to run a poetry elixir bar serving drinks with healing botanical elixirs and edible slice’s of poetry.
